The day after a holiday is always quite terrible.

Didn't do well for cello lesson today... Really hard to focus. Anyway teacher taught me "phantom" and "starwars", our orchestra pieces.

Will be a lone cellist for prac tmr... Hope I can survive.

Realised something today. Steph and Elgin have been telling me the same thing.

Steph: Don't belittle yourself!!!         

Elgin: Don't look down on yourself.

Hmmmm... Ok. Problem with me is probably this - if I don't think I play VERY good, then I think I don't play well. Probably expect too much from myself......

Have to start telling myself this again  -> "If you're at Level 1, do your best at Level 1 first, before proceeding to Level 2."

Both of them also commented that the sound I produced on my instruments is very FLOATY. Hahahaha. Oh man... Probably too used to playing for myself and for the 4 walls that I don't dig in hard enough.

Perhaps it's because I'm always in my own world when I play music and the sound is probably a reflection of that... Or perhaps it's because I don't like too much tension on the strings... Feel painful for them lol...

Anyway, I think those are really good points which I have to take note and improve on.
